The first Mandarin Oriental Residences in Abu Dhabi will be located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, close to renowned museums, exclusive restaurants and entertainment venues.

The luxury residential development is scheduled to open on Saadiyat Island, which is well-known for its world-class villas, restaurants, beaches and top-notch attractions.

Aldar has partnered with a global brand for luxurious hotels, resorts and residences, Mandarin Oriental,  to bring the Mandarin Oriental Residences to Saadiyat Island. The agreement comes with the rising demand of branded and luxurious homes in Abu Dhabi. Earlier this year, a penthouse in one of Aldar’s branded residential buildings on Saadiyat Island was sold for AED 137 million, setting a record for Abu Dhabi.

The Mandarin Oriental Residences are expected to feature 228 luxurious homes and will have access to the upcoming museum about natural history, The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Residents of Mandarin Oriental Residences will have access to 3,500 square meters of luxurious dining options along the Zayed National Museum promenade, as well as 60,000 square meters of immersive shopping, entertainment, and recreational opportunities at the neighboring Saadiyat Grove.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Aldar on this historic development in Abu Dhabi, presenting the Mandarin Oriental lifestyle to the residents for the first time,” said Laurent Kleitman, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental.

“We look forward to setting a new standard for luxury living in Abu Dhabi with our distinctive attention to detail and commitment to legendary service.”
